My all time favorite, Phyllis Diller, has passed away at the age of 95..  (HERE’S THE STORY)  She was a lady I could relate to… lot’s of bad hair days, and a “loud laugher”!  My nickname as a child became Phyllis Diller, thanks to a co-worker of my dad! Alas, it was not because of my sense of humor..  my hair was an uncontrollable mess most of the time! Oh, and she also worked at a radio station (as a copy writer) before launching her stand-up career!
