Police have arrested a parolee for allegedly impersonating Corona city councilman Steve Nolan while trying to buy $1500 dollars in office supplies. Adding to the mystery is that investigators say the suspect, 37 year old Lorenzo Ciaramella, looks nothing like the councilman. Ciramella is six foot seven 465 pounds while councilman Nolan is 5 foot ten, 175 pounds.

House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid still haven’t reached a budget agreement to avoid a government shutdown. The two met with President Obama at the White House last night. The government is set to run out of money on Friday and 800,000 federal workers could be furloughed. Republicans could bring a new short-term spending measure to the House floor today.
