A murder investigation is underway after a mans body was found in the parking lot of a Rancho Cucamonga apartment complex late last night. The discovery was made at the complex on East Placer Street after reports of shots fired. The unidentified victim was found next to his car with the trunk open.

The crisis at Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant may be worse than the 1986 Chernobyl meltdown. Plant operator Tokyo Electric Power is making that dire assessment after admitting it has not been able to stop radiation from leaking from the plant.

Big Bear Lake is nearly full prompting officials to start releasing water from the lake for the first time in 15 years. As of Monday, the lake was just three inches from capacity.
