One of the two inmates who escaped from the County Jail in Devore Tuesday afternoon has been captured. 23 year old Johnathan Mundo was taken into custody early yesterday morning in Highland and a Victorville man was also arrested for assisting in the escape. Police are still looking for the other missing prisoner identified as 24 year old Steven Gallagher.

A Menifee man accused of killing his neighbors chihuahua with a golf club in January has been ordered to stand trial on a charge of felony animal cruelty. If convicted, 58 year old Larry Jaurequi could get four years ion prison.
