
The nominations are in for the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards. The nominees for Best Drama are “Boardwalk Empire,” “Breaking Bad,” “Downtown Abbey,” “Game of Thrones,” “Homeland,” and “Mad Men.” The nominees for Outstanding Comedy Series are “The Big Bang Theory,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Girls,” “Modern Family,” “30 Rock,” and “Veep.” ABC’s “Scandal” star Kerry Washington and late night host Jimmy Kimmel were on hand to reveal the nominees this morning. Kimmel, who will also host the awards in September, was a last-minute fill-in for “Parks & Recreation” star Nick Offerman who was unable to make the announcements due to weather delays on the East Coast. ABC will televise the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards live coast-to-coast on Sunday, September 23rd.
