SolarMax Technology is re-locating its corporate headquarters from Industry to Riverside — a move that could bring 16-hundred jobs to the area. Company officials say they will move to a large warehouse on 12th street in downtown later this year. The move is expected mean an immediate 100 jobs with another 1500 possible over the next few years.

The Route 66 Rendezvous is a go for next month in San Bernardino. Last week Rendezvous officials said the event was $36,000 short of what it needed and could be canceled unless donations came in. While not givings specifics, officials tell the San Bernardino Sun there has been great response from the community and there is no doubt the Rendezvous will take place.
