Two suspects are in custody after a Halloween night shooting on the campus of USC in Los Angeles. School officials say four people were wounded by gunfire. None of the people involved were students. Meantime police are looking for four suspects following a shooting during a Halloween celebration on Hollywood Blvd. Three people were injured including one teen who is in critical condition.

Firefighters in Murrieta found a womans body inside her burned out apartment yesterday morning and police have launched a murder investigation. Neighbors say they heard what sounded like a struggle before the fire was reported. A three year old child was rescued from the apartment

Police are looking for a man who tried to lure two Moreno Valley high school students into his minivan on Halloween. The incidents happened yesterday morning on Cottonwood Avenue and Eucalyptus Avenue. Both girls are OK.

Police in Jurupa Valley are looking for a woman who has been missing for more than a week.

30 year old Karly McKenna Eliot was reported missing Friday after her family hadn’t seen or heard from her for several days. She is described as 5’9″, 150 pounds with blonde hair and green eyes. Anyone with information about her whereabout is asked to call  Detective  Pluimer, at the Jurupa Valley Station, at 951-955-2600.

Crews are making progress on getting things back on track in some areas ravaged by Superstorm Sandy. New York City subways are back in business but with limited service today. Sandy is now blamed for at least 72 deaths. The toll could continue to rise as workers make their way through floodwaters and rubble .

The Department of Labor says the monthly unemployment figures will be released on Friday as planned. The report was in question due to a two-day government shutdown in Washington, DC because of Hurricane Sandy.

Singer and songwriter Bill Dees has died.  Dees is best known for co-writing Roy Orbison’s 1964 hit “Oh, Pretty Woman” with Orbison.  The 73-year-old Dees died last week in Mountain Home, Arkansas.  He’s credited with writing numerous songs, some recorded by performers such as Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell and Loretta Lynn.

First it was the KOLA morning show at last weeks party at Morongo…now “Glee” is jumping on the “Gangnam Style” bandwagon. Theshow has released a clip previewing its cover of the viral hit by Korean rapper Psy. The episode is slated to air toward the end of November.
