
Three men have been arrested but the search continues for two suspects in connection with Moreno Valley jewelry heist that left a shop employee in critical condition.. The incident started around 3 p.m. when five armed men in ski masks held up Empire Jewelry and Loan on Sunnymead in Moreno Valley. The CHP chased a pair of getaway cars for miles before taking two suspects into custody near the Cal State Fullerton campus. A third suspect fled on foot, carjacked a motorist and was later captured in Watts. Two other suspects fled on to the Fullerton campus causing a six hour lock down but they have not been found.
There are no signs yet of progress by President Obama and House Republicans in their talks to avert the fiscal cliff. Democrats and Republicans are stuck on tax hikes for the wealthy and ways to cut federal spending.

The “12.12.12″ Hurricane Sandy benefit concert attracted major stars last night including Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and the Rolling Stones. Mick Jaggar caused a little controversy when he joked “If it rains in London, you’ve got to come help us”. Some New Yorkers felt that was making light of the Sandy devastation.
