Convicted arsonist and murderer Rickie Lee Fowler could be sentenced to death today. Thirty-one-year-old Fowler was found guilty in August of starting the Old Fire in the San Bernardino Mountains in 2003, and a jury recomended the death penalty a month later. Five people died of stress-related issues caused by the wildfire.

More than 230 people are dead after fire roared through an overcrowded nightclub in southern Brazil. Officials say many of the dead suffered smoke inhalation while frantically trying to escape.

Millions of Facebook users could get some money. Facebook is informing people that their personal information may have been unlawfully used through the site’s “Sponsored Stories” feature. If you’ve got the email, and the settlement is approved, you could be eligible for ten dollars.

Singer Chris Brown is under investigation this morning following a fight at a Los Angeles recording studio involving fellow entertainer Frank Ocean.  The police were called to the studio after a reported brawl over a parking spot.  TMZ.com reports up to six people were involved in the fight.

Ben Afflecks Argo is now the apparent frontrunner for the Oscars after winning best performance by an ensemble at last nights SAG Awards. Daniel Day Lewis won for best actor in Lincoln and Jennifer Lawrence won best actress for Silver Linings Playbook.
