Authorities have identified the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy killed in the violent shoot out in Seven Oaks as 35 year old Jeremiah MacKay. MacKay was a detective in the Yucaipa sheriff’s station and had been with the department for 15 years.  He lived in Redlands and was a 1995 graduate from Rim of the World High School. He was a member of the Inland Empire Emerald Society, which offers supports to the families of fallen officers. He’s leaves behind a wife and two children including a baby son.
