25 students were arrested yesterday morning in a massive undercover drug operation at two Inland Empire high schools. Autorities say a female sheriff’s deputy posed as a student at Perris High School, and a male deputy did the same at Paloma Valley High in Menifee. The two bought and sold everything from pot, crack, meth, hashish and various prescription pills to and from the unsuspecting students.

A former Riverside County Sheriff’s deputy has been convicted of second degree murder for killing a man in an off duty shooting at a Menifee bar two years ago. Dayle Long faces 40 years to life in prison.

A security guard paid to protect the Lakers training center in El Segundo is accused of robbing it. Authorities say an overnight security guard is accused of stealing two Lakers championship rings and gift cards valued at nearly 20-thousand dollars.

Retailer J.C. It’s too early to tell how severe this flu season will be. The CDC says flu levels across the country are low right now, but that’s expected to change with the holidays coming and more people traveling.
