A Murrieta high school is potentially dealing with another case of tuberculosis. Health officials say for the second time in six months, a student at Vista Murrieta High School is suspected of having come down with TB and possibly exposing classmates and teachers to the disease. Health officials don’t believe the two incidents are connected, but they are working to have dozens of students and faculty at the school tested.

Police in Corona are investigating after a newborn was found dead in a trash bin at an apartment complex. Authorities say a woman who was in the hospital for injuries related to childbirth admitted to putting the baby girl in the dumpster Tuesday. The 24-year-old woman told investigators she thought the baby was dead after she gave birth at home. An autopsy is planned.

You may have seen the smoke around lunch time yesterday. A historic home in Redlands that was more than 100 years old burned to the ground late yesterday morning. The home on Olive Avenue was owned by a Redlands doctor and had been designated a Heritage home by the city. No one was home at the time and there is no word on how the fire started.

The suspect in that terrifying mass stabbing at a Pittsburgh-area high school is being charged as an adult with four counts of attempted murder and more than 20 counts of aggravated assault. Authorities say 16-year-old Alex Hribal stabbed at least 20 fellow students and a security guard in yesterday’s bloody attack.

You may be seeing less Family Dollar Stores. Family Dollar says it will be cutting jobs and shutting down hundreds of struggling stores. The discount store chain says it plans to close about 370 of its stores after second-quarter sales fell more than six-percent. No word on which stores will close.

High school proms won’t be costing American families as much this year. According to the a new poll,the average family is looking to spend 978-dollars this year, a 14 percent drop over last year. The survey also found that parents are picking up over half of their teen’s prom bill.

Walmart is going organic. Walmart is partnering with Wild Oats to rollback prices on organic foods.

The worlds greatest golfers will be teeing off this morning as the 78th Masters gets underway in Georgia. Tiger Woods will miss the tournament for the first time in his career because of a back injury.
