As the NTSB is investigating a deadly bus crash in Northern California, survivors are returning to Southern California. The NTSB says a fire expert found no physical evidence to back eyewitness accounts of a pre-crash fire on a FedEx tractor-trailer that collided with a bus full of students last week. That crash killed ten including a high school senior from Riverside and a college recruiters from Rancho Cucamonga A preliminary report on the crash is expected in about 30 days.
Several sheriff’s deputies are being investigated by the feds over alleged inmate abuse at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. The FBI and sheriff officials are investigating several deputies in the San Bernardino County jail system, after four deputies lost their job over the reported abuse.
A chilling story coming out of Utah…A Utah woman is in jail after police found seven dead infants in the home where she used to live. Police arrested 39-year-old Meagan Huntsman early Sunday after her ex-husband called them and reported he’d founded the decomposing bodies in cardboard boxes.
A smartphone is in the works for Amazon.com. The “Wall Street Journal” reports that the company has been showing the phone in several locations over the past month or so and hopes to have an announcement on it by the summer.
