A couple of transients who allegedly killed four Orange County women are due in court today. Authorities say the two men murdered one woman whose body was found at a trash recycling center in Anaheim, and the other three bodies have yet to be recovered. Officials say there may be more victims. Both men were convicted sex offenders who were wearing GPS devices. One had a record out of Riverside County.

Police in San Bernardino are on the look out for a gunman who opened fire in a strip mall yesterday afternoon injuring three people. Authorities say the shooting happened outside a Little Caesar’s at the corner of Highland and North E street. The victims are expected to survive.

President Obama is setting aside time today to honor the victims and survivors of the Boston Marathon bombing. Today marks one year since two homemade bombs went off near the finish line of the race, killing three people and injuring more than 260. This years race is next Monday.

It’s been a tough allergy season. There’s some good news if you’re suffering through the springtime sniffles. The FDA has approved a new drug to fight grass pollen allergies. The drug is called Grastek, and it’s manufactured by Merck. It should be available here in the U.S. later this month.

Did you see the blood moon? Many people are talking about the overnight lunar eclipse. The moon turned a reddish color as it slid into the Earth’s shadow. That “blood moon” was visible for about an hour. If you missed the blood moon, the next lunar eclipse happens on October 8th.
