A Riverside man is in a heap of trouble after allegedly calling in a bomb threat at a local high school. Police were sent to Norte Vista High School Wednesday after someone called the school and threatened to attack the campus with multiple weapons. Students were kept from entering the school while an investigation continued, but were eventually let inside after nothing suspicious was found. Further investigation led to the arrest of 43 year old George Hemminger Jr. No word on a motive.

A major investigation is underway in Monterey Park after two fire trucks collided and one crashed into a restaurant full of people yesterday afternoon. Authorities are now saying at least 15 people, including six firefighters, were injured.

A swimmer drowned at Lake Perris lat yesterday afternoon. The mans body was pulled from the water about 20 minutes after witnesses saw him go under.

A portion of highway 38 now honors a local sheriff’s deputy. Friends and family members gathered in Yucaipa Wednesday to see part of Highway 38 renamed the “Detective Jeremiah MacKay Memorial Highway.” MacKay died last year in the shootout with former cop Christopher Dorner.

Former Foreigner singer Lou Gramm might work with the band again. Guitarist Mick Jones says Gramm has “discovered a few songs” from the 1980′s that they “never quite finished,” and they “might take time next year to work on them. Jones and Gramm reconciled their relationship last year when they were inducted into the songwriters hall of fame.
