Casey Kasem’s children are reportedly preparing to say goodbye to their father. An LA judge has reversed a ruling that required doctors to keep the legendary DJ alive essentially giving Kasem’s kids the go ahead to end his life support. Kasem’s children say they would be honoring their father’s wishes. Kaseys wife Jean was reportedly furious with the decision and stormed out of the court after the judge’s ruling.

I-10 through Beaumont is open again after a stubborn brush fire closed the freeway yesterday afternoon. The fire charred about ten acres but no homes were damaged.

Students at Ridge Crest Elementary School in Moreno Valley collected nearly three-thousand dollars worth of can tabs to help pay for a fellow students ear surgery. Amir Walton is a second-grader born with a defect in one ear that allows him to only hear about 20 percent. The students say they wanted to try and help out his family cover his medical expenses.

There is just one winning ticket from last nights $260 million dollar Powerball drawing and it was bought in Knoxville, Tennessee. So far the person has not come forward.

The LA Kings couldn’t wrap up the Stanley Cup last night losing to the Rangers in New York…they’ll try to finish them off tomorrow night at Staples.

Knott’s Berry Farm’s oldest major ride will reopen this weekend after undergoing a makeover. The Calico Mine Ride first opened in 1960. The updated attraction features animatronic humans and animals throughout the ride as well as new scenes.
