San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard is the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player. At 22-years-old, he is the youngest winner of the Bill Russell Award since 1999 when his teammate Tim Duncan took home the honor. Kawhi grew up in Moreno Valley and was a star at Riverside’s King High School. Leonard posted 22 points and 10 rebounds in the finale of the best-of-seven series. He averaged nearly 18 points per game during the Finals. The Spurs defeated the Miami Heat 104-87 in Game Five to win the NBA title.
