Casey Kasem’s children plan to honor their father this weekend with a private memorial. Casey died Sunday following a long illness at the age of 82. His kids aren’t disclosing the location “to make sure the ceremony is kept private.” No word if Casey’s wife Jean who has been in a very public feud with his children will attend the memorial.

A six month old Hesperia boy is being treated for multiple broken bones and his mother and boyfriend are behind bars. Police made the arrests Tuesday night after being alerted by a doctor about possible abuse. The boy reportedly had deformities in his arms and legs and he is being treated at Loma Linda for broken bones. The boyfriend is facing charges that include torture and mayhem while mom is accused of child endangerment.

A police dog with the Riverside County Sheriffs department is recovering after accidentally being shot by a deputy Friday night. The deputy opened fire when attacked by a pit bull in Lakeland Village. The pit bull was killed and one of the bullets hit the deputies K-9 partner …a german shepherd named Tessa in the paw. The good news is that Tessa is expected to make a full recovery.

The red light cameras in Riverside may be going away. The city council has voted to move forward with canceling the red light program with another vote expected next month. Critics say the cameras actually cause more rear end crashes.

History made at Dodgers stadium last night where Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw threw his first career no hitter.

Facebook is up and running again this morning following a world wide outage at about one this morning. The outage lasted for about an hour but its not clear what caused the problem.
