Arsenio Hall is back on late night tv – look for his new talk show on KTLA tonight – first guest is Comedian Chris Tucker. Ellen and Dr Oz is also new today.
Its September 9th – so there’s a lot of new faces you’ll see on your tv today. The View kicks off their new season with Jenni McCarthy as co-host. One of the first guests happens to be her new boyfriend Donnie Wahlberg. Should be interesting.
On prime-time TV – its The Million Second Quiz. Which sounds like the dumbest competition show ever. Contestants battle head-to-head for 12 consecutive days and nights as they test the limits of their knowledge, nerve and endurance. Plus there’s an online way to play online and you can download an app too. Sounds confusing!

Carrie Underwood tripped on stage last week and injured her foot. Doctors checked her out after the show and fitted her up with a sexy black walking boot. She Tweeted, “Hey, remember that time in Corpus Christi when that girl busted her butt on stage? Hilarious! Oh wait, that was me!” Apparently her heel got caught in the tail of her sweater during the show but like a true pro – she kept on singing.
Congrats to Bruno Mars – NFL announced yesterday that BRUNO will headline the Super Bowl halftime show on February 2nd. You may have seen him on Fox’s “NFL Sunday”to make it official. He described the gig as, quote, “an honor. Beyonce was the headliner last year.
Back in 2006, Mel Gibson was busted for DUI on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu . . . and launched into that anti-Semitic tirade that no one can seem to forget. Well – over the weekend, Mel had another run-in with the Malibu PD. It happened at 1am Friday morning. But this time he didn’t blame or insult anyone. Mel and a female passenger rolled up to a DUI checkpoint, he was sober, but he didn’t have his license on him. Of course they had him pull over at another checkpoint. And that’s about when he started to get mad. He reportedly yelled ‘why are you harassing me?’ Then he said something like I’ve had problems with you deputies in the past’. After Mel cooled down – they let him go with a warning.
