The big day has arrived! The future King of England, 3-month old Prince George, made his first public appearance this morning for his christening. He arrived with his Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, for his big event at St. James’s Palace. The baby prince smiled as he was shown off to family members including his great-grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, before the royals entered the Chapel Royal. George was dressed in an elaborate lace and satin christening gown.

A few fun facts – The holy water used is from the River Jordan. The kid has 7 godparents – surprisingly NOT Prince Harry or Pippa. They are auntie and uncle – they are gonna spoil and influence him enough.

(side note – I’ve got a bone to pick with Father Michael at my church – I wanted more than one set of godparents for my daughter Sophia – he said it was against the rules. – Can i get a do-over? lol!)

Ben Affleck was raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts and is a devoted Boston Red Sox fan. So why is the Oscar winner wearing a St. Louis Cardinals shirt just days before the two teams meet in the World Series? Its for a movie! Affleck is filming the movie “Gone Girl’ – based in Missouri and Ben is in costume – we have a pic of him on the set standing near director Tyler Perry. Still, maybe this is a good sign for the Cardinals.  Lets hope he doesn’t have to wear the shirt today  - Game one of the World Series is tonight in Boston.

Ben and Jerry’s has launched a limited edition ice cream flavor in honor of legendary anchorman Ron Burgundy. “Scotchy Scotch Scotch” is the name of the ice cream. But there is no scotch in it. Not the booze. Its contains butterscotch ice cream and butterscotch swirl ribbons. Even though he’s a FICTIONAL CHARACTER, Ron Burgundy issued a statement saying, quote, “Scotchy Scotch Scotch is a delicious ice cream and I hope Ben and Jerry consider my other suggestions:  Malt liquor marshmallow.’ Anchorman 2 – The Legend Continues is in theaters December 20.

OK – details on the big top-secret proposal with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

He paid 35-thsnd to rent the stadium.

He got down on one knee.

15-carat diamond ring – 8-million dollar price tag!

(Side note – its smaller and more expensive than the 20-plus carat ring Kris Humphries gave her.  Sounds like Kris got a better deal)

Fireworks and Roman candles exploded in the background.

Orchestra played – he had ‘pleeeeaaasseee marrry meeeee’ flashing on the scoreboard. (just a little desperate – dontcha think?)

Kims entire family ran onto the field when she said ‘yes.’  She thought they were all at a spa in Arizona and missing her birthday.

There is a rumor that they might tie the knot in Vegas – they have checked out Graceland wedding chapel recently. Kayne is a big Elvis fan. They want an impersonator to sing Love me tender during the ceremony. They have said they want cheesy but kinda sexy and cool.
