Iconic rock band Fleetwood Mac will be touring in 2013, confirmed band member Stevie Nicks in an interview with CBS Wednesday.Nicks’ interview focused more on her solo career and her new album. Though it has been years since she first started performing, she said she has not changed much as a person and a performer, and that her decision to pursue a solo career has been a freeing experience for her.

Asked about a possible Fleetwood Mac reunion she replied, “Next year, so far. It’s the plan because that’s what we do.” Their last tour as a band was “Unleashed” in 2009.

Asked about fellow member Lindsey Buckingham she said, “I do my thing. And Lindsey is out doing his thing now.”

Nicks also expressed her sentiments regarding the recent suicide of Fletwood Mac guitarist Bob Welch. She said Welch’s death came as a shock to her and that,”I couldn’t even imagine that anything could be so bad as to cause that. And I just feel very, very bad that somebody could have been that miserable to do something that crazy. I can’t even tell you what in the world would have pushed him to do something that crazy.”

Next Friday, Stevie will team with Rod Stewart for their 18 day “Heart and Soul” tour kicking off in Cleveland, OH. Check out my facebook page by clicking here.
