Police are looking for the estranged husband of a San Bernardino woman who was found stabbed to death in her apartment. 28 year old Ashley Atherley had recently filed for divorce and her body was discovered Sunday. Authorities are looking for her husband 33 year old Edly Atherley. The couples two children had been staying with relatives are were not hurt.

Salvation Army Major Butch Soriano is going for the bell ringing record outside the Walmart Supercenter in Colton. Major Soriano is one of eight Salvation Army employees nationwide trying to break the record for continuous bell ringing which currently stands at 80 hours. Soriano made it to 51 hours in 2011 but has been training and thinks he can break the record this year.

The woman who was the inspiration for Kelli McGinnis’s character in Top Gun has just gotten a big promotion. President Obama has appointed Christine Fox as acting deputy defense secretary, making her the highest ranking civilian woman at the Pentagon.

Riverside will soon be entertained by top comedians.  Officials announced Bill Engvall and Wayne Brady are slated to take the stage at the Fox Performing Arts Center next year.  Engvall, who appeared on the TV show “Blue Collar Comedy,” is set to perform on January 30th.  Brady, who was part of the cast of the comedy show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” is scheduled to appear at the theater in May.
