Today is the deadline to sign up under the Affordable Care Act if you hope to be insured on January 1st . The original deadline for coverage was December 15th, but the date was pushed back because of the flawed launch of the HealthCare.gov website.

The lawsuits against Target are mounting and more are possible as a result of a credit card breach at the start of the holiday shopping season. Class action lawsuits are now pending in California and Oregon. Millions of accounts have popped up for sale on the black market.

Two people and an unborn child were killed after a car plunged down a ravine in North San Bernardino early Sunday morning. A 24 year old San Bernardino man and a 19 year old Beaumont woman were killed. Another 19 year old woman suffered major injuries and lost her unborn child. Two others suffered minor injuries. Officials say alcohol may have been a factor.

Not quite as many people are interested in seeing the “Anchorman” legend continue as they are in “The Hobbit.” “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,”opened second to “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” which in its second week raked in another 31-point-five-million dollars.
