Crazy weather in Southern California yesterday and more could be on the way today. This pic was taken in the Victor Valley last night. Monsoonal moisture from Baja California brought thunderstorms and lightning to the area. One person was killed and at least seven other hurt when lightning hit at Venice Beach yesterday. A golfer was also hit by lightning on Catalina Island but he is expected to survive.
Thunderstorms over the San Bernardino mountains dropped an inch of rain in less than an hour yesterday causing some fast moving run off in some areas. Forecasters say more unsettled weather is on the way with more thunderstorms possible today. Showers already reported in many areas this morning.
