He calls himself the “Godfather of Fire!”  He’s from the Inland Empire,.. he’s Jim Souza, president of Pyro Spectaculars in Rialto, one of the largest fireworks companies in the world, known for the pyro musical productions and sky concerts they produce all over the globe.  Jim is 5th generation, descendents of Portuguese ancestors who emigrated from the Azores, Souza’s family landed in the San Francisco Bay area at the turn of the century in search of the American Dream!  They found it!  What started at local events backyard events and community fairs to what today has become about 2,000 shows annually.   From Olympic Games, to  Super Bowls, from New York to the Golden Gate Bridge, from Hong Kong to Jerusalem.  This July 4th, Pyro Spectaculars will put together 400 shows, including 4th of July in the Sky  with KOLA & the cities of Moreno Valley, Riverside, Ontario & Lake Arrowhead!  I call him a Hometown Hero!  Congrats Jim Souza of Rialto, your family’s American dream has come true!   Happy 4th!  & God Bless the USA!
