Tom Petty has offered a full refund to fans who attended his gig at the Fonda Theater on Saturday, after the show was cut short due to over capacity. Petty and the Heartbreakers were about 90 minutes into the show when the fire marshal made the decision that there were too many people crowding the main floor of the 1,300-capacity Fonda in L.A. At the Fonda the following night, Petty said, “We had to quit a little early last night. I don’t like to assign blame, but it wasn’t me. I’m absolutely sure we’re going to work this out. If I have to pay it myself, everyone will be reimbursed.” Way to go Tom! Face Book here!
