Bald eagle “Jackie” laid (another) egg in a nest in the San Bernardino National Forest near Big Bear on Saturday afternoon (1/9). The group Friends of Big Bear Valley says the egg is expected to hatch around Valentine’s Day. Sadly, a previous egg laid last week by Jackie was lost after it was attacked by ravens. The Friends of Big Bear Valley have a livecam set up… check it out at the Friends of Big Bear Valley website.
