University of Iowa superstar Caitlan Clark is headed to the WNBA. The Hawkeye star was the No. 1 overall pick last night (4.15.24) of the Indiana Fever in the WNBA’s draft. Caitlin had a remarkable season, where she set records on the court and huge television ratings for women’s college basketball. Now for the controversy: Caitlin is expected to sign a four year contract with Indiana for $338,000. In comparison, The No. 1 overall pick in last year’s NBA draft, San Antonio Spurs rookie star Victor Wembanyama, signed a four-year, $55 million contract, that’s about $12.1 million for his first season!  Read more here.
