The sweater vest Matthew Broderick wore nearly 40 years ago for “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” is going under an auctioneer’s hammer with an estimated price between $300,000 and $600,000!! Broderick played the charming slacker Ferris Bueller, who faked being sick so he could play hooky and enjoy a day on the town in the city of Chicago with his girlfriend, played by Mia Sara, and pal, portrayed by Alan Ruck. Bueller had that vest on when he visited the Art Institute of Chicago, took in a Cubs game at Wrigley Field and took over a parade in the classic coming-of-age 1986 movie. Sotheby’s auction house is taking bids until June 24th. CLICK HERE for Sotheby’s website.
