Lindsey Vonn’s Olympic comeback took a heartbreaking turn Sunday, (02.08.) The 41-year-old skiing legend crashed just seconds into her race, losing control off the start and going down hard on the Cortina course. Vonn was airlifted to a hospital and later underwent surgery for her broken leg. U.S. Ski and Snowboard says she’ll be ok, but it’s going to be a process.
