Some actors are simply in a class of their own. That’s how I felt about the legendary Robert Duvall, who we sadly lost over the weekend (02.16). He leaves behind an extraordinary legacy, with unforgettable performances in films like Apocalypse Now, The Godfather, and The Godfather Part II. One of my personal favorites is The Judge. The 2014 drama, which also starred Robert Downey Jr., Vincent D’Onofrio, and Jeremy Strong, explored a strained father-son relationship with such honesty and depth, you could practically feel the tension in the theater. Robert Duvall was 95 years old.
