I’m always up for a good conspiracy theory, but this one feels like a stretch.
Jim Carrey was in Paris for the 51st César Awards, where he accepted an honorary César — delivering his entire speech in French (very impressive!). But online, people were claiming his face looked like a mask and his eyes seemed different, sparking clone rumors.
The buzz grew after makeup artist Alexis Stone posted a pretty convincing Carrey transformation, with some taking it as a claim he posed as the actor.
There’s no proof of that. It’s far more likely lighting, aging — or even possible cosmetic procedures — are behind the different look. Congrats to the funny man… sorry, conspiracy theorists. More here.
