5 Quick Facts About ONT Field Before Opening Day | Freddy Rivera |

new-citrus-bowl

ONT Field is getting close to opening, and the buzz around the Inland Empire is real. Before the first crowd walks in, here are a few quick things you might not know about the stadium:

1. The first event isn’t a game… it’s a concert.
They’re flipping the script and launching the venue with live music before any baseball hits the field. The Avett Brothers!

2. It was built with concerts in mind.
Yes, it’s a baseball stadium, but the layout, lighting zones, and sound positioning were all designed to handle major performances.

3. Parking and access are actually solid.
Multiple entrances, wide lanes, and lots of open space. For a brand-new venue, that’s a huge win for the IE.

4. It’s planned to be a year-round spot.
Beyond sports and concerts, expect festivals, community nights, and seasonal events. This place isn’t a single-purpose stadium.

5. The IE gets first access.
Before the rest of SoCal starts posting about it, Inland Empire listeners get the first shot at checking out the venue – and we’ve got your tickets.

Jesse Duran in the Morning is giving them out all week, around 7:20am!

Stay close. This one’s just getting started.
