This makes me love Will Ferrell even more than I already did! Christina Applegate is singing his praises for going above and beyond to get her in the movie Anchor Man! In Applegate’s book that just dropped, You with the Sad Eyes, she says the dollar amount higher ups originally offered her to play, “Veronica Corning,” was, “…so low it was a little offensive.” Realizing that, Ferrell and the movie’s director Adam McKay took a pay cut to bump Applegate’s salary.
