The Wilson volleyball from Cast Away is going up for auction in Los Angeles as part of Propstore’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Even if you are not into movie memorabilia, Wilson is one of those props almost everybody recognizes instantly. I still think it is absolutely insane that anyone would spend six figures on a Hollywood prop like this, especially when I would probably rather own a Batmobile. But Cast Away is such a classic, and that is what makes something like this more fun than ridiculous.
