Artemis II launched today as NASA’s first crewed mission around the Moon in more than 50 years, and one of the biggest local angles is pilot Victor Glover, who graduated from Ontario High School. The mission is expected to last about 10 days and will send the crew around the Moon and back to Earth as NASA continues building toward future lunar missions.
I have always admired aviation and space travel, and this is the kind of thing that never gets old for me. Pretty incredible to think somebody with IE roots is part of something this historic.
