You wouldn’t expect a film about ping pong to be compelling but throw Timothée Chalamet into the mix and that’s a game changer! Chalamet’s Marty Supreme garnered nine well-deserved Oscar nods including one for him in the lead actor category, as well as best picture. When I was watching it, I was a kind of afraid to blink because so much was going on and I didn’t want to miss even one second of it. From the plot, to the acting, the soundtrack and the pacing, Marty Supreme nails it. So if you’re like me, you’ll be wearing bright orange and pulling for the ping pong phenom March 15 when the Oscars air on ABC and Hulu.
