In an unexpected move, Dolby (not Disney or Pixar) dropped the first official trailer for Toy Story 5 today. It’s not often you see a sound and cinema-tech company roll out a major studio trailer before the studio itself, but Dolby used the moment to showcase the film’s upgraded audio and visual experience.
The trailer gives a quick look at Woody, Buzz, and the Toy Story crew stepping into a new chapter with the familiar mix of heart, humor, and rich animation the franchise is known for …and releasing it through Dolby puts the focus on just how good this movie is going to look and sound.
