New RHCP Documentary Is Coming to Netflix | Freddy Rivera |

flea-2

Red Hot Chili Peppers fans have something new to look forward to.

A new documentary called The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brother, Hillel is set to hit Netflix on March 20, and it takes a look back at the band’s early days in Los Angeles before the stadium tours, platinum albums, and worldwide fame.

The film focuses on the group’s raw beginnings and shines a light on original guitarist Hillel Slovak, whose influence helped shape the sound and spirit of the band from the start.

According to the trailer description, the documentary includes stories and interviews with people close to that era, including Jack Irons, Alain Johannes, and George Clinton. It also promises a look at the band’s early creative energy, first tours, and the emotional foundation of what would later become one of the biggest rock bands in the world.

For Chili Peppers fans, this looks like a deeper look at a chapter that helped define the band long before the mainstream success.
