Sylvester Stallone and Quentin Tarantino are joining forces to bring us a show that combines mobsters, boxing, music and nightlife! What’s super cool is that the series set during the Great Depression, will be filmed using vintage 1930s cameras to give it an authentic look. “Sly” and Tarantino will both work behind the scenes. Tarantino has openly credited Rocky as an influence on his filmmaking career. Stallone previously declined roles in Tarantino’s Jackie Brown and Death Proof, but over the years the two have maintained mutual admiration for one another.
