Wow. I always knew Flea was a great musician, but this took it one step further. On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he performed his take on Frank Ocean’s “Thinkin Bout You” from his upcoming solo album Honora, blending bass and trumpet in a way that felt jazz inspired, loose, and really cool. I have seen the Red Hot Chili Peppers in concert many times, but I would pay a pretty penny to see Flea and his band do more solo stuff like this. Love this kind of thing.
