Graduation season is underway and Hugh Jackman just reminded grads that sometimes the best plans are the ones you never saw coming. He recently delivered the commencement address at Ball State University. Jackman said during his final year of college, he signed up for a theater class on a whim, mostly because a friend told him it’d be easy. But after skipping the first few classes, Jackman showed up to find out the entire class was putting on a play and since he missed the discussions, the professor cast him in the lead. Not exactly the “easy A” he was expecting, but before long Jackman embraced theater. For him what started out as a class, ending up being his calling.
