If you use an iPhone, there is a new software update available starting today.
Apple has released iOS 26.5, the latest update for iPhone users. While it is not a major redesign, it does include a few useful improvements.
One of the biggest updates is better privacy when texting Android users. Messages sent using RCS can now be end to end encrypted, which means your conversations are more secure.
The update also includes Suggested Places feature in Apple Maps that recommends nearby spots based on your location and recent searches.
To install the update, go to Settings, tap General, then Software Update.
