Everything really is bigger in Texas.
Six Flags Over Texas has unveiled a massive new roller coaster called Tormenta Rampaging Run, and it is set to break six world records when it opens this year.
The new ride stands 309 feet tall, reaches speeds of 87 miles per hour, and will become the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster. It is also being billed as the world’s first “giga dive coaster.”
I immediately think of Six Flags Magic Mountain and favorites like X2, Tatsu, Full Throttle and Goliath.
I have always loved roller coasters, but I also know there is a very specific moment on every big ride when you ask yourself why you thought this was a good idea.
Tormenta Rampaging Run opens at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington near Dallas, and it looks absolutely insane.
