This might be considered blasphemy, but I honestly thought Top Gun: Maverick was even better than the original film so I’m super excited to hear a third flick in the franchise is in the works. Paramount Pictures co-chair Josh Greenstein made the announcement Thursday, (04.16) at Cinema Con in Vegas. Tom Cruise will be back to reprise his role as, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell,” with Jerry Bruckheimer producing.
